Part of a historic building in the center of Modica, our Loft Le Nuvole was built after a careful renovation that brought to light the ancient walls and a well. The house has a large living room, a bedroom, located on the large mezzanine floor, a kitchen, a bathroom and a panoramic balcony where you can have lunch while admiring the beauty of the city.
It is an absolutely unconventional house, with a very peculiar style: one of the highlights of this loft is the hanging bed located on the ground floor, where you can feel "above the clouds". In the same room there is also a comfortable sofa, a pouf, a TV, a table for 4 and two bookcases created from a niche. From here you also have access to the sunny terrace, furnished with table and chairs and from which you can enjoy a beautiful view of Upper Modica. On the same floor there is also a kitchen with induction stovetop, microwave, kettle, coffee maker and toaster, and a bathroom with large shower.
On the mezzanine, accessible via a staircase, is the sleeping area, furnished with a double bed, desk with chair, hanger, mirror, chest of drawers and bedside tables.
We also offer to our guests truly authentic experiences to live like a local. If interested, visit our website wonderfulitaly.eu or contact us and we will be more than happy to help you out designing an unforgettable holiday to discover Italian beauties.
Pets are welcome, with an extra cost of € 30 for final cleaning.
South-eastern Sicily truly has everything you may desire: crystal clear sea, wild nature and astonishing works of art and of architectures. The cities of Noto, Modica, Scicli and Ragusa Ibla are the best architectural examples left nowadays from the flowering Baroque Age in Europe, with their churches and the precious buildings. The Church of San Giovanni Battista and Palazzo Bertini can be visited in Ragusa Ibla, while in the unique city of Modica there are the Cathedral of San Giorgio, placed on the Iblean upland and the Church of San Pietro, in the valley. Last but not least, the small and medieval Palazzolo and the baroque capital city of Noto are worth a visit, thanks to their vivid streets and noble buildings, such as Palazzo Ducezio.
Architecture and culture are the main traits of Val di Noto together with a rich culinary tradition, originated from the melting pot of culture and people who have passed by through the centuries, leaving a piece of their immense traditions and culinary secrets.
For wild nature and sea lovers, there are amazing and wild beaches: Calamosche, Vendicari with its Wildlife Park and the precious San Lorenzo. Also, the seafront of Tonnara di Avola, the fisherman village of Marzamemi and Isola delle Correnti, an eye-catching landscape where Mar Ionio and Canale di Sicilia meet. Sicily is beauty, it is a wild land with a long past and it impossible to forget at first glance.
The airport of Catania Fontanarossa is about 120 km far away, while Comiso “Pio La Torre” airport is 40 km far.
