Casetta Arco with balcony
Casetta Arco is a bright studio located over the white lanes of Cisternino, with a balcony facing its historic centre. The house has been built over a beautiful and antique road arch, and comes with a queen size bed and a kitchen with dining area. The unique location makes it elegant and peculiar, moreover the sunlight passes through the overall space thanks to the balcony and the main entrance, which are at the opposite side of the arcade.
The small but comfortable house is near several shops and restaurants, has a new bathroom with shower and offers everything our guests may need, such as tv and heating for cold italian days.
We also offer to our guests truly authentic experiences to live like a local. If interested, visit our website wonderfulitaly.eu or contact us and we will be more than happy to help you out designing an unforgettable holiday to discover Italian beauties.
Cisternino is one of the most beautiful italian hamlet, deep in Valle d’Itria. The most valuable sites are the historic centre with the norman-german Tower and the Church of San Nicola, the so called “Chiesa Madre”, the rural area and its ancient Trullos, all around. Architecture, culture, social identity and food are all traits of this town, in particular the white houses, alleys, yards and the typical roasted “bombette” and wine. This makes Cisternino a place where time stands still, together with its old traditions.
Our guests can easily discover the amazing places of our countryside from Cisternino: Ceglie Messapica, historic town with a strong food and wine tradition, Ostuni, the famous Pearl of Valle d’Itria and Alberobello, which is famous for its ancient dwellings, Trullos, world heritage since 1996.
25 kms north our guests can visit the Archeological Site of Egnazia, Polignano a Mare and Monopoli, old fishermen villages with evocative historic centres and enchanting beaches. Going further north, guests can find Bari, Eastern threshold; meanwhile toward south there is the Torre Guaceto nature reserve, just before reaching Brindisi and Lecce, capital of Barocco. Taranto, the heart of Magna Grecia is located west, and then guests can find Matera, particular for its Sassi and nominated european capital of culture for 2019. Cisternino is really the heart of Puglia, with its tradition, its culture and its beauty.
