Cooking class and lunch in Masseria: from the farm to the table
Available on Tuesdays at 10am
A transfer will drive us to a typical Apulian Masseria for a real cooking lesson and a 100% Pugliese lunch. Our hands will learn the art of genuine homemade cooking, immersed in the beautiful countryside to recall a past of unique traditions.
A transfer will take us to the Masseria in the heart of the Apulian countryside; we will immerse ourselves in the Mediterranean vegetation and learn to know the different varieties of wheat and flour used to create the best dough for pasta and homemade focaccia, as our grandmothers used to do. The preparation is simple, and a few fresh and straightforward ingredients are involved, whereas the processing requires the use of refined techniques and a lot of patience. Homemade Apulian orecchiette and focaccia smell of love for authentic traditions and passion for simple products of the land, seasoned with the scent of genuine old times. We will learn the best techniques and all the secrets of the Apulian cuisine, our efforts will then give life to the products that we will eat together in the Masseria, all together, just like the old times.
