Cycling around the Valle d'Itria

“It is true, you have to pedal – but there is nothing more satisfying that enjoying a journey thanks to your own legs.” - Pietro

A 15-kilometre bike ride through the magical valley of the trullo homes. Full of nature, pedalling freely through the fields, vineyards, olive groves and woods, starting at Locorotondo and crossing the Pugliese aqueduct, you will discover the fantastic farmers’ world.

This is one of those experiences that will leave its mark on you, one about which you will tell all your friends and relatives when you get home. The journey is magical, characterised by trullo houses, dry walls and farms, as well as the explosive nature of the Valle d’Itria, with its fields, vineyards, olive groves and woods. You will enjoy all of this on two wheels, the only way capable of reaching everything without any difficulty. After a few kilometres, the cycle path will open up before you, which leads to the Aqueduct built in 1900 to carry water from Campania to Puglia. Once you have returned to Locorotondo, a nice glass of wine will be waiting for you.

Other information: we are able to substitute the bike for electric transport, which may include varying the journey track occasionally.
