Climbing the Mount Etna at dawn is an experience not to be missed. Mount Etna has always been the guardian of a unique land, still lives of active and vibrant energy.

The Etna Morning half day tour leaves from your accommodation if you are in Catania; we will meet at the Nafè bar, opposite the central station if you arrive from outside Catania.

This half-day will allow us to learn about the history of one of the most famous volcanoes in the world, present for 60 million years, described for centuries in the books of literature and always considered the symbol of Sicily.

Along the journey that will lead us to an altitude of 2000 meters above sea level, our expert guides will tell us how the highest volcano in Europe was formed, from its origins to today, without forgetting the aspects of the fauna and flora that feature.

After observing ancient lava flows, such as the one in 1991, and recent, we will proceed on foot through the famous lunar landscape, to discover ancient inactive craters. The enchanting panorama and the suggestive scenery will make us feel on another planet.
After a short break, the excursion will continue with a visit to a lava cave. With a helmet and torch, we will enter it to admire a unique spectacle in the world.

Our tour proceeds with a break at a panorama point to admire the enchanting Valle del Bove, the famous volcanic caldera, where all around, nature explodes uncontaminated.
