The Enoteca Picone wine bar: wine and psychology

Available in English and French

We will live an enological and psychological experience in one of the most important wine bars from Rome downwards. We will taste three wines and a local delicacy while learning a bit more about ourselves.

In Enoteca Picone wine bar, the biggest from Rome downwards, we come in, they make us a psychological analysis before giving us a bottle of wine.
This Enoteca is a historical wine shop, started seventy-two years ago to sell oil and wine in bulk, today continues to the fourth generation of the Picone family, who for twenty years has entrusted the management to Vera Bonanno, an overwhelming and volcanic woman.

Vera is dedicated to the in-depth research of wines, going directly to the field to get to know her producers because for her this world is first of all people and experiences.
The result is a selection of about 6000 labels from all over the world: from small Sicilian and Italian wineries to German and Alsatian riesling, to great French wines and fine spirits.

Vera will try to understand our personality and our state of mind, to give us the product that best suits the moment.
In this temple of wine culture, each bottle is allowed to be known, which is why almost all are open to the wine, "by the glass".

Vera also organizes tasting packages: Regional, Volcanic, Tradition, and, finally, Female producers, the result of a long project on women's wine.

In conjunction with the wine tasting will be offered a taste of territorial delight, such as the cow Cinisara carpaccio, or alternatively we can go from the enoteca to the next door, where Giovanni, the cook of Tenda Rossa, will propose his dishes of the day: simple, abundant expressions and genuine, in accompaniment to the wines that Vera will have chosen for us.
