Start from the historic center of Trapani and reach the medieval village of Erice by transfer, 750 meters high and about 25 minute-driving. Along the road that climbs up the mountain, you will see panoramas that embrace the stretch of coast between Marsala and San Vito lo Capo.
Once in the center, stroll with a tour guide in what is known as "City of Science", where the Ettore Majorana Center for Scientific Culture and "City of Hundred Churches" reside. Visit the village surrounded by the city walls, which can only be visited on foot. Let yourself be led in a series of paths to discover panoramas and corners of a truly unique village.
Visit the Bell Tower and the austere interior of the Cathedral, entering the heart of the historic center. Visit the other churches and admire the ancient art of loom weaving to produce the famous Erice rugs.
Taste the typical sweets, "Genoese", some shortbread delights with custard and a sprinkling of sugar. At the end of a maze of narrow streets, get enchanted by the bright colors of the handmade ceramics.
Visit the ancient Spanish quarters and end with a view of the Castle of Venus and the Torretta Pepoli, lying on a spur of rock with a breathtaking panorama.
