FAI Autumn Days come back to Naples on the 15th and 16th of October. It will be the perfect occasion to enjoy the beautiful artistic and natural heritage of this part of the peninsula. In fact, some of the Italian beauties will be exceptionally open to the public.

FAI, Fondo Ambiente Italiano, is a non-profit organization that aims at protecting and promoting the immense Italian Heritage. During the FAI Autumn Days, you will have the chance to visit places that are usually closed to the general public.

Villa Rosebery

Villa Rosebery is one of the 3 official residences of the President of the Italian Republic, and it is located on the Posillipo hill. It's one of the main references for Neapolitan neoclassicism.

The villa was commissioned by the Austrian Von Thurn, and it was later bought by Princess Gerace. Then, Lord Rosebery bought it and he turned it into an oasis of tranquility. It was also used by the Savoy as one of the royal residences until the Republic.

During the Autumn days, you will visit the park, which stretches over 6 hectares. In fact, the villa was initially built as a hunting lodge.

Church of Compagnia della Disciplina della Santa Croce

In the historical center of Naples, precisely in the Forcella area, you will find the Church of Compagnia della Disciplina della Santa Croce. The complex was closed for restoration works, and it will open again on the occasion of FAI Autumn Days.

Construction started at the end of 1200, but many decorations were made during the Burbon Kingdom. The interior has a majolica floor, as well as a cloister with lemon and orange trees.

Villa Mura, Capri
