Social Impact

Wonderful Italy aims to produce positive change through tourism, operating as a cohesive enterprise, aware of its ties of interdependence with territories, actors and communities. Discover our initiatives.

The ways we leave a positive social impact

Our mission is to introduce our guests to the wonders of Italy, including the country’s lesser-known destinations. We aim to support local entrepreneurs hosting guests in authentic homes, and providing local experiences and activities. We combine skills and energies to create projects with positive social impact in the areas in which we operate through an extensive network of local offices and teams rooted in the territory. We collaborate with institutions and nonprofit organizations with which we develop social innovation projects. Our vacation homes enhance existing structures to avoid taking up new land by building new accommodations. Since 2023 we have been members of AITR, Associazione Italiana Turismo Responsabile.

Authenticity

We support the growth of tourism in Italy's most authentic destinations. Thanks to us, our guests also discover lesser-known locations beaten by mass tourism.

Wonderful Italy's Theory of Change

The Theory of Change is at the heart of our commitment. It is a logic model that links our actions to the long-term results we want to achieve. By defining a sequence of changes, from the current situation to the desired one, we ensure the transparency and effectiveness of our work.
