From North to South, from Gargano to Salento

The beaches are really a lot and they are glad to welcome your dog: some of them have free access.
They are bathing facilities with a few rules to follow.
On those beaches all dogs with a health certificate can access. It's almost always allowed to bath and, on some beaches, there are even activities to do together.

The best locality is surely Vieste, which has 5 beaches:

• Portonuovo
• E. Mattei - Scialara
• Europa San Lorenzo
• Località Molinella
• Località S. Maria di Merino

In the province of Foggia:

• Spiaggia Il Gabbiano (Rodi Garganico)

In the province of Lecce:

• Lido Coiba a San Foca
• Eden Salento Dog Beach of Pescoluse a Salve

In the province of Brindisi:

• Santos BauBeach in Torre Canne near Fasano. This beach has won many  awards in 2011 by the Minister of Tourism, as an animal-friendly beach

No beaches have been reported for dogs in the provinces of Taranto and Bari but we are sure that those areas are going to be accessible to dogs soon.
