The restaurant is located in Palazzo dei Principi di Butera, which will soon become a monumental museum space open to public.
The collaboration with Tasca d'Almerita ensures the visitors to enjoy a high quality cuisine inside the prestigious cultural pole in Palermo.
Palazzo Butera, in Palermo, is an extraordinary place, which is going to become the ideal "door" to the city, a bridge linking the harbour, the historical neighborhood "La Kalsa" and the pole with important Palaces, such as Palazzo Abatellis, the Botanical Garden and Spasimo.
It's called "Le Cattive" because it looks out the historical "Passeggiata delle Cattive", where, in 1800, widows -prisoners of their own pain- could walk in peace. It is thought as a multifunctional space where you can have breakfast, dinner or you can just sip a glass of good wine, produced by this noble family.
Its terrace offers one of the most suggestive view of La Cala, the old harbour of the city.
You can access the restaurant from a small garden of aromatic herbs. The whole offer is realized by an equipe of young Sicilians under 30 with interesting experiences all over the world. They have worked in order to sintetize the knowledge of Sicilian primary resources, the cuisine of the noble house of Monsù and other recipes from the nearby islands.
