In Bari, you can also find AICS (Associazione Italiana Cultura e Sport) where there is an LGBTQ+ Department. Gaycs manages sports among LGBTQ+ people in Italy.
Apulian Gay-Friendly beaches are a lot, and they are present and extended among the whole territory.
The beach of Torre Guaceto in Brindisi is free and it's very beautiful, it's in a WWF natural reserve. It's an intimate zone, but difficult to reach: the long way would be worth the view anyway.
Sannicardo Garganico in Foggia is a beach between Capojale and Torre Mileto, it's popular among gay people, an intimate place where you need to walk a bit to get there.
In Gallipoli, you'll find Spiaggia con Piena, close to Santa Maria di Leuca, it's a gay and naturist beach. Close to it, there is also the Lido G Beach, which is very popular among the LGBTQ+ community.
In Taranto, there is Spiaggia del Conte d'Ayala, even though getting there is not that easy since you have to walk a lot. But you won't regret it: the place looks enchanted.
The Beach of Punta Penna Grossa is in Caroviglio and it's visited by gay people, looking for privacy. You get there by bus no.4. The place is very beautiful, it looks like the Caribbean thanks to the surrounding nature, which gives a sense of peace.
Another gay beach is Freak Beach, in Pietra Egea, which is also easy to reach: you have to get through Camping Ripagnola and the shore: the first beach is for families, the second one is for homosexuals.
In Pietra Egea, between Cozze and Polignano a Mare, you'll find breathtaking bays where you can swim in clear water and meet other gay people. It's a rocky beach, so the water is crystal clear.
The beach of Torre Incina is in Polignano a Mare, near Monopoli; it's the birthplace of Domenico Modugno and it's popular among all the gays of the region. Here you'll find Cala Incina, a popular gay beach, which is very calm and perfect for relaxing and meeting new people.
LGBTQ+ nightlife is especially alive in summer, in particular in Bari and Salento.
One of the most famous bars is La Ciclatera. Here you can meet new people, have something to eat, drink good wine while admiring a great view. It's on Via Venezia 16 in Bari.
Reverso is a food & wine shop in Bari Vecchia. Here you have the chance to drink good wines and have a typical aperitivo. The place opened in 2002 and it's very welcoming, on Strada Vallisa 1 in Bari.
Once a month, the Kabum Pride Village organizes a gay party.
One of the most popular gay clubs in Bari is Makumba, which is unfortunately closed in summer. It organizes theme parties and it attracts all the young gay people in Apulia.
One-Off Stutalacapa is in Torre a Mare, there's a beautiful atmosphere due to the live music and the traditional cuisine and wine.
Eremo Club is another place that attracts gay people: Italian and International guests perform and they play all kinds of music. It's very popular in summer and it's in Giovinazzo.
Anddos is very popular in Bari, and it's very popular among people from all over Apulia. A lot of events are organized with the aim of becoming a gay meeting point. It's also furnished with a Sauna and a jacuzzi pool.
