overview
Charming apartment located in one of the oldest streets in Ostuni's historic center.
The house opens onto a short flight of stairs that leads to a kitchen equipped with an induction hob, a microwave and an espresso coffee machine, and furnished with a dining table. On the left side of the room is then a sliding door that conceals behind it a small bathroom equipped with a shower and all amenities.
Once past the kitchen you come to the living room, featuring a double sofa bed and a television. A few steps and a sliding door divide the room from the semi-elevated bedroom, which features a queen-size bed, a walk-in closet and en suite bathroom with shower.
*Upon arrival or a few days before arrival it may be required to pay a tourist tax, which varies according to local regulations. You will find your reservation details within the Guest Area of Wonderful Italy.
Ostuni, known to the world as the White City, is the pearl of the Itria Valley. Its historic centre, blindingly white and immense, culminates in the Cathedral that impetuously dominates the plain of olive trees, the coastal dune park and a crystal-clear sea. Its narrow streets, the Piazza della Libertà (30 metres away) and the column of St Oronzo that majestically protects the town are characteristic.
Its countryside extends into the heart of the Valle d'Itria. A few km away is Ceglie Messapica, a centre of tradition and enogastronomy, Cisternino, a village recognised as one of the most beautiful in Italy, Alberobello whose famous trulli have been a world heritage site since 1996. About 30 km to the north we find the Egnazia Archaeological Park, Monopoli and Polignano a Mare, ancient fishing villages with a charming historic centre and beautiful beaches. To the north (80 km) we find Bari, the gateway to the East, while moving south we first encounter the Torre Guaceto nature reserve, then Brindisi to reach Lecce, the capital of Baroque. Moving westwards there is Taranto, the heart of Magna Graecia and finally Matera, characteristic for its sassi and European capital of culture.
The nearest airports and ports are Brindisi (less than 40 minutes) and Bari (less than 1 hour 15 minutes).
