General Conditions

and Terms of Use

The following General Conditions and Terms of Use and any subsequent modifications apply to all available services provided by Wonderful Italy Srl online, in a direct or indirect way, through any mobile device, email, or by telephone. Wonderful Italy is here considered in every part of it, including its controlled companies, for example, Visitsicily Srl, Wonderful Puglia Srl, Wonderful Sicily Srl, Wonderful Liguria Srl, Wonderful Campania Srl, Wonderful Piemonte Srl, Wonderful Emilia Srl, Iamholiday Srl, Wonderful Sardegna Srl, Wonderful Como Lake Srl and Wonderful Venezia Srl, hereafter named all together as “WI Group”. By accessing the website wonderfulitaly.eu (hereafter "Site"), visiting it, using it and/or using any available application through any platform. The guests declare that they have read, understood, and accepted the terms and conditions set out here (including the Privacy Policy and cookie policy).

The General Conditions and Terms of Use constitute a binding agreement between the WI Group and the person that uses the Site and the booking system and purchases the services offered. The guest is also subject to any special conditions applicable to individual services (including details about the destination, the start date and length of holiday, the price, and any applicable duties) that are specified in the WI Group catalog. Such special conditions form an integral, substantial part of the contract between the WI Group and the guest. The use of the website, bookings, and purchasing of services is subject to these General Conditions and Terms of Use being accepted by the guest.

The guest must, therefore, read the General Conditions and Terms of Use in its entirety as well as any eventual special conditions applicable to individual services, made available on the Site before carrying out a booking. By purchasing a service offered by the WI Group, the guest automatically accepts General Conditions and Terms of Use described here.

The General Conditions and Terms of Use may be modified at any moment, without warning, although it is understood that such modifications will not be applied to orders made by the guest before any such modification.

Home stay

The service of home rental allows any guest that accesses the site to view and book stays in one of the buildings managed by the WI Group.

The renting takes place between the guest and the landlord or tenant of the building. In some special cases, the tenant of the building may correspond to the WI Group. At the moment of arrival, according to any legislation in effect in that municipality or for that type of accommodation, it may be necessary to sign a rental agreement between the guest and owner.

With the booking confirmation for a stay, the guest accepts the contractual conditions for the rental service, which they declare that they have read in its entirety before purchasing the service, and of which they will receive a summary following the booking.

Payment method

The WI Group offer can be booked on the Site by credit card PayPal and Scalapay. All main international credit cards are accepted.

Deferred payment:

The guest is given the possibility to pay the stay in 3 installments without interest via Scalapay and receive your order immediately. The installments are applicable to payments up to 4000€ without interest.

In order to use Scalapay, you must select it as a payment method in the check-out phase and you will be redirected to their website. In case your payment is approved, you will receive a confirmation of your installation plan. Simultaneously, the first installment will be charged on the card indicated by you; the following installments will be charged due to the expiration date.

It is hereby clarified that the WI Group is not involved in the contract between the guest and Scalapay and it is relieved of any liability imputable to controversies, complaints, or the non-acceptance of the installment request. Furthermore, the guest acknowledges that the installments will be transfered to Incremento SPV S.r.l., to related parties and their transferees, and authorizes such transfer.

Payment schedule and booking cancellation policies

Payments schedule and cancellation methods depend on the type of rate purchased at the moment of booking

Standard Rate:

Booking a stay with the Standard Rate requires the payment of the total sum for the stay at the moment of booking.

The Standard Rate offers a free cancellation option that varies according to the type of accommodation reserved. The free cancellation option is shown both at the time of booking and on the confirmation email received upon completing the payment. In the case of cancellation requests received by the WI Group on the last day on which said reimbursement can be claimed, only those received by the due date will be considered valid.

In the case of cancellation after the times set out above or a “no show” by the guest, the WI Group will keep the total amount for the stay.

Promotional Rate:

Booking a stay with the Promotional Rate is subject to specific payment and cancellation policies, different from those set out for the Standard Rate.

With the Promotional Rate, the WI Group denotes all offers available on the site with a discounted rate with regard to the Standard Rate. For these offers, the booking cannot be cancelled, the total sum must be paid at the moment of booking, and they cannot be combined with other promotions or initiatives in progress on the same booking. In case of a booking cancellation on a Promotional Rate, the booking total in its entirety will be kept by the WI Group.

Cancellation Requests

Cancellation requests must always be communicated in writing by sending an email to bookings@wonderfulitaly.eu, and are subject to the cancellation policy related to the Tariff selected by the guest at the moment of booking confirmation.

Requests for Changes

Any changes must be requested by sending an email to: bookings@wonderfulitaly.eu.

Changes to bookings may be possible based on availability, the maximum capacity of the property in question, current prices and the following conditions:

- An increase in the number of days or people: possible as long as the apartment is available for the dates requested and it has sufficient capacity. The change is only confirmed following the payment of the difference between the original total paid and the new total to be paid. - A reduction in the number of days or people: possible without any additional charges if requested by the free cancellation date shown on the Site at the time of the booking and on the confirmation email received upon completing the payment, unless the apartment was booked using the “Promotional Rate”. In the case of the reduction being possible and resulting in a lower total rate, the WI Group will arrange for the total amount of the stay to be recalculated, thus reducing the total still to be paid or subsequently reimbursing the difference.

Reimbursements

WI Group will reimburse the total for bookings paid online in the following circumstances, as long as the guest has fulfilled all obligations, set out in the General Conditions, for:

- Cancellation by the guest within the limits defined in the booking conditions (Terms & Conditions) - Cancellation by the accommodation owner: possible only if neither the WI Group nor the property owner have been able to offer alternative accommodation that is to the guest’s satisfaction. - Accommodation unavailability: possible in any moment of the stay, and as long as the client informs the WI Group a maximum of 24 hours after the emergency took place and neither the WI Group nor the property owner have been able to offer alternative accommodation that is to the guest's satisfaction. - In the case of an apartment not matching its online description at the time of booking, and only when the client has notified WI Group of this a maximum of 24 hours after check in and neither the WI Group nor the property owner have been able to offer alternative accommodation that is to the guest’s satisfaction.

The reimbursement of a part or the total sum for a booking can only be carried out with payment method used by the guest at the time of booking. Technical times for reimbursement depend on the guest's payment method at the time of booking, and any delays cannot be attributed to the WI Group.

Arrival and departure

Check-in takes place according to the methods and times established in the booking confirmation, which is usually between 15.00 and 20.00. The guest must confirm the time of arrival at least 48 hours before the check-in.

A WI Group employee or a WI partner (or the property owner), will be present at the agreed time, and will have the task of confirming that all the items set out in the inventory are indeed present and in good condition, and will furthermore take it upon themselves to hand over:

- the keys of the property - informative brochures about the city and things to see and do - paper contract to sign

The guest will give the deposit, if requested, for the specific accommodation to the employee in cash and will provide the employee with identity documents for all the occupants of the apartment. Guests without a valid identity document cannot be accepted.

Check-out takes place according to the methods and times established in the booking confirmation. Check-out must take place by 10.00.

A WI Group employee (or the property owner) will return the deposit following a check of the accommodation if the following conditions are met:

- No damage not attributable to general use is found in the property. - No penalty owing to illegal activity carried out by the guest during the stay is incurred. - Rubbish has been carefully separated according to local laws and placed in the designated containers or bins. - The accommodation is left in acceptable cleaning conditions

Out of hours check-in and check-out

A check-in or check-out request for out of hours times may be possible. An additional cost ranging from € 20 to € 40 will be charged for arrivals after 20:00.

Children and newborns

Children under two years of age will not be accounted for in the daily rate of the home. The indication of the number of guests and their age range can affect the amount of any tourist tax required by the Municipality in which the home is located.

Use and transparency of the site:

WI Group Offer

All WI Group accommodation offers, services and experiences, as well as advertised travel packages are normally valid for the entirety of the time that they are visible on the Site, until all available places are taken unless otherwise indicated in the offer, and can vary in real time. Photos in the description are purely illustrative and have no binding effect.

Price Transparency

All our prices are calculated in Euros and include VAT.

Descriptions of services set out online specify the services that are included in the price for each type of accommodation, service and/or experience, as well as any eventual specific conditions applied to such products.

Other information

To the extent permitted by the law, these General Conditions and Terms of Use, as well as the supply of our services, will be regulated and interpreted in accordance with Italian law and any controversy arising from these terms, the General Conditions and our services will be ruled upon by the Court of Milan (Italy).

In the case of any of the clauses of these General Conditions and Terms of Use not being valid, losing validity, being or becoming non-binding, the guest must comply with all other clauses as set out here. In such a case, we will set out to replace said clause with a clause that is valid and legally binding, and has an effect that is as similar as possible to the substituted clause, and the client agrees to accept this with regards to the content and aims of these General Conditions and Terms of Use.
