overview
Bright and refined flat just a few steps from the Naples seafront and Castel dell'Ovo.
The flat, on the fourth floor of an elegant building served by a lift, opens onto the corridor leading to the rest of the rooms. The elegantly furnished living room features a double sofa bed facing the TV and a large dining table, and access to the balcony. Next to it is the kitchen with all amenities including a dishwasher, a microwave and a kettle. The sleeping area, on the other hand, consists of three bedrooms with queen-size beds: all of them have access to the balcony, which makes the rooms very bright; one of them also boasts an ensuite bathroom with shower. A further bathroom with shower completes the layout.
Air conditioning, individual heating and free wifi are available in the accommodation.
*Upon arrival or a few days before arrival it may be required to pay a tourist tax, which varies according to local regulations. You will find your reservation details within the Guest Area of Wonderful Italy.
"When you go to Naples you cry twice: when you arrive and when you leave," they say. Naples is a unique city to be experienced by walking through the alleys, smelling the aroma of gastronomic delicacies in the air and admiring its rich artistic and monumental heritage.
Naples is the origin of a distinctive culinary tradition for its famous Neapolitan pizza, and the art of its pizza makers has been declared an intangible heritage of humanity by UNESCO.
As you stroll through Spaccanapoli, the street that cuts the city in half, you pass through its thousand-year history thanks to the presence of ancient palaces and churches, such as the Duomo di Napoli and the Maschio Angioino. If there is a symbolic place in Naples, this is Piazza del Plebiscito, now a symbol of the new "Neapolitan Renaissance" where tourists come to admire its grandeur and two jewels: the neoclassical colonnade of the church of San Francesco di Paola and the Royal Palace. Today it is also possible to visit "the underground city," or the so-called "belly of Naples," which served as a shelter for Neapolitans during the bombing raids, where tourists can walk through the Greco-Roman aqueduct, air-raid shelters and finally visit the War Museum.
Especially not to be missed is the San Severo Chapel, which houses the sculpture of the Veiled Christ, one of the most fascinating and mysterious works to be seen in Naples, the result of the talent of Giuseppe Sanmartino.
Naples Central Station and the airport are both easily reached in less than 30 minutes by car from the accommodation.
