overview
Located in a quiet and authentic neighborhood of Noto, the apartment enjoys a strategic location just a short walk from the Baroque historic center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its proximity to major landmarks, public gardens, restaurants, and amenities allows you to explore the city comfortably on foot. The neighborhood is residential and quiet, ideal for those seeking relaxation without sacrificing the lively atmosphere of the city center. It’s a perfect starting point for discovering the wonders of the Val di Noto and the beautiful beaches of Sicily’s southeastern coast.
The property is spread over several levels, ensuring a clear separation between the different areas.
On the first floor are the living and sleeping areas, which include: a bright living room furnished with sofas, a separate kitchen that doubles as a dining area, a bedroom with a queen-size bed, a bedroom with bunk beds overlooking a private balcony, a main bathroom fully equipped with all fixtures, and a second bathroom used as a laundry room.
The second floor provides direct access to the property’s true highlight: a spacious, furnished terrace for exclusive use, offering a prime location with panoramic views overlooking the rooftops of Noto and the surrounding hills, culminating in a picturesque glimpse of the sea.
*Upon arrival or a few days before arrival it may be required to pay a tourist tax, which varies according to local regulations. You will find your reservation details within the Guest Area of Wonderful Italy.
For lovers of relaxation and the sea, Eastern Sicily and the area around Syracuse offer everything one could wish for. Starting from the ancient Greek city and heading south, the best-equipped and most beautiful beaches are Minareto, Fanusa, Arenella, and Fontane Bianche, whose name derives from the natural freshwater springs and the white color of the sand. Inside the island of Ortigia, you will also find equipped solariums (Zefiro and Nettuno) and a small free beach called Cala Rossa. Further south, at a distance of about 30 km, you will find beautiful unspoiled and impervious beaches, including Calamosche, Vendicari with its natural wildlife oasis, and the beautiful San Lorenzo. If you are interested in culture, you should visit the Greek Theatre of Syracuse, the Archaeological Park with the Ear of Dionysius, a cave carved into the limestone in the shape of a human ear, the Paolo Orsi Museum, and the Latomie dei Cappuccini, as well as Ortigia itself, with its historical, cultural and natural beauty. Not to be missed is Noto, the seafront with the tuna fishery of Avola, and finally the seaside village of Marzamemi. In short, Sicily is a land to explore, and its natural and cultural beauties are treasures to fill your eyes with.
Catania Fontanarossa Airport is an hour's drive from the accommodation.
