overview
Beautiful villa with trullo and private pool, recently renovated and not far from the town of Carovigno.
The villa, surrounded by the green of olive trees and the red earth typical of the Itria Valley, combines modernity and tradition with style and elegance. Furnished with the utmost attention to detail, it consists of a large and bright living area, characterized by a vaulted ceiling with exposed stones, where there is a kitchen with an island, equipped with all modern amenities including an oven, a dishwasher, an espresso coffee machine and a dining table, and a living area with sofas facing the fireplace, a TV and windows overlooking the olive trees. The sleeping area, on the other hand, is as follows: two bedrooms with a queen-size bed and an ensuite bathroom with shower, plus a bedroom with a queen-size bed and a double sofa bed, located inside the trullo, also with an ensuite bathroom, which can be reached via a glazed corridor, but also from the outside via a separate entrance for those who want more privacy.
A service toilet completes the layout.
Spacious outdoor spaces frame this beautiful property: an enclosed garden furnished with deck chairs perfect for sunbathing after a refreshing dip in the private pool, which is a "Salt Water mosaic infinity pool". A dining table under the porch completes the outdoor layout.
*Upon arrival or a few days before arrival it may be required to pay a tourist tax, which varies according to local regulations. You will find your reservation details within the Guest Area of Wonderful Italy.
'Surrounded by the lush green of trees planted on slopes', as Italian poets describe it, the town of Carovigno is part of northern Salento, in the province of Brindisi, and is a famous olive oil production centre. The castle of Carovigno bears the name of the town on which the ancient Carbina was built, and like all fortified monuments, it is the highest part of the town while in its basement it is possible to visit the 'dungeons' used as cells and cellars. The historical centre with its four proud towers, three of which are still standing, is worth visiting. Not far away are the town's churches: the Mother Church dedicated to Our Lady of the Assumption and the Church of the Carmine, with 18th-century frescoes. The town of Carovigno hosts the annual 'Press Tour Carovigno' offering guided tours, olive harvesting and tastings.
The nearest airports and ports are Brindisi (less than 30 minutes) and Bari (1 hour 15 minutes).
