Pignasecca

It is located in via Pignasecca and it is open from Monday to Saturday, from 9.00 to 19.00. Popular legend has it that the name is linked to a particular event. A bishop is said to have excommunicated one of the nearby pine trees, which suddenly dried up (hence "pine cone"). Here the stalls sell fresh fish and other food items as well as clothing and shoes. Do not miss the stop in one of the street food in the area.

Poggioreale market

It is located in via Marino di Caramanico, open on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 8.00 to 15.00. This is one of the best known and most loved markets, where you can find clothing (also used, in excellent condition) and make many deals. The centerpiece however is the sale of shoes; here they are equipped with such a quantity of footwear to satisfy all tastes! Our advice is to go there on the first opening hours, otherwise, you will miss the best opportunities.

Porta Nolana market

It stands in Piazza Nolana, open every day from 8.00 to 14.00. Located in a very lively context, not far from the sea, this market is famous above all for the sale of fish. Attending negotiations between the fishmongers' stalls is always an opportunity for great fun.

Fuorigrotta
