Fanusa beach

The area south of Plemmirio, called Fanusa , is characterized by sandy beaches so it is more accessible and suitable also for prams and strollers. There are areas equipped with tables and chairs. Recommended also for those who are not great at swimming, because here the depth of the sea is not exaggerated at all. Accessibility for the disabled is also guaranteed.

The Costa Blanca

If you love uncrowded places, this rocky seabed cliff fully answers your wishes. It preserves areas of uncontaminated nature , crystal clear water and fascinating backdrops. For those who love underwater photography, the Costa Blanca is a starting point for snorkeling and diving (the latter activity allowed with online authorization). There is the possibility to explore different sea caves suitable for different patents and capacities, but fishing is prohibited.

Diving

There are ten entrance "gates" to the seabed of Plemmirio . In zone "A", the most protected, you can dive with accredited diving to discover the Grotte del Formaggio, the Grotta del Capo, the Secca del Capo, the Tre Ancore and the Lingua del Gigante. In zone "B" you can visit Gli Archi, the Costone di Capo Meli, the Stalattiti, the Corvine and the more recent Geronimo. Each name evokes an unmissable landscape under the sea, a new perspective on the marine world, but also suggestions created by the hand of man and then modeled by nature. Like the Mermaid , a majestic bronze sculpture in memory of Rossana Maiorca or the plaster Madonnina placed to protect the sea. Diving among spectacular shoals of barracudas, sea bream, glances and amberjacks, placid groupers, of all species and sizes, is not just a dream here.

Land routes

At Plemmirio the narrow streets wrapped in Mediterranean vegetation have a great charm. In fact, it is possible to take long walks among palm trees, carob trees, gorse, thyme plants and myrtle bushes. From Punta Castelluccio to the Capo Murro di Porco lighthouse, you can take a natural path of about 10 km , distributed over several sections. The path can be traveled on foot and by bicycle, alternating rest stops in areas nearby the sea. For lovers of mountain bike it is recommended to try their hand at a breathtaking path between the bright colors of the sea and vegetation and the aromas of aromatic herbs.
