Best Price Guarantee
1. Definition and cases of application of the “Best Price Guarantee” rate
Wonderful Italy always offers its guests the best available rate. That is why if the user finds a lower price elsewhere, we offer the lowest rate to which we add an additional 10% discount.
The “Best Price Guarantee” applies to the satisfaction of all these conditions:
- The user, when searching for a vacation home managed directly by Wonderful Italy, finds the same at a lower rate on a third-party booking site than what is listed on wonderfulitaly.eu. - The lower rate is intended only for bookings whose stay will begin no earlier than 30 days later, for the same house, in the same period of stay, for the same number of guests, and under the same rate conditions (refundable/non-refundable rate, cancellation and reservation change conditions), including services (e.g., cleaning fees) and taxes. - The lowest rate offered by the third-party booking channel is at least 10% lower than the one found on wonderfulitaly.eu.
If all requirements are met, Wonderful Italy will apply the lowest rate found by the user with an additional 10% discount. For example, if the user found on wonderfulitaly.eu a vacation rental at 400€ but on a third- party booking channel found a rate of 360€, Wonderful Italy will apply the new rate of 324€ (360€ - 10%) pursuant to what is defined for “Best Price Guarantee”.
2. Cases of non-application of the “Best Price Guarantee”
“Best Price Guarantee” does not apply in the following cases: - Corporate rates. - Discounted rates applied as a result of special offers. These include, for example, rates subject to newsletter subscription, limited-time offers, last-minute offers, long stays and/or stays booked within the 30 calendar months (e.g., stays booked on March 14 whose check-in date will be March 31). - Complimentary or discounted rates reserved as a result of enrollment in loyalty programs offered by third-party companies (e.g. Esselunga Fidaty program). - Rates reserved for Wonderful Italy employees. - Rates proposed by websites that do not have immediate confirmation but only offer the possibility to request information. - “Package” rates, including the stay in combination with extra services (e.g., flight or car rental), not managed and/or offered by Wonderful Italy. - “Roulette” formula rates, i.e., rates that include stay in conjunction with extra services in a surprise destination.
3. Currency and price difference
If the rate charged by the third-party booking channel is in foreign currency, Wonderful Italy will convert this rate to euro (€); the exchange rate will be the rate applied by the Bank of Italy, in effect on the day you are making the reservation on wonderfulitaly.eu and until the end of the day.
4. Application of the “Best Price Guarantee
To take advantage of the “Best Price Guarantee”, it is necessary for the user to submit a claim form through wonderfulitaly.eu when booking the stay. To be considered valid, the claim form: - must be complete with all information, i.e. first and last name of the person making the reservation, number of guests, check-in and check-out dates, and name of the house being booked with a link to Wonderful Italy's website. - must have attached a screenshot showing both the date and the lowest price offered by the third-party booking channel and associated terms and conditions, as well as any other documents supporting the request. Incomplete and/or incorrect claims will not be considered by Wonderful Italy. Furthermore, the company is not responsible for any errors, incorrect and/or fraudulent information reported by the user on the claim form. In order to be processed, requests must be made exclusively by filling out the claim form. Any requests received through any other channel (e.g., by telephone) will not be taken care of.
5. Benefit from the “Best Price Guarantee”
Once the request is received, Wonderful Italy will review the information and, if all requirements are met, will proceed to the application of the “Best Price Guarantee”. The user will be notified regarding the new rate applied via the email address entered in the claim form and will be able to proceed with the reservation upon issuance of a discount code reserved for him. In case of a negative outcome, the user will be notified by email regarding the reasons why he/she will not be able to take advantage of the “Best Price Guarantee”. In the event that you no longer wish to enjoy the “Best Price Guarantee” please notify Wonderful Italy promptly.
6. Changes to Terms & Conditions
Wonderful Italy reserves the right to change these Terms & Conditions at any time. Once amended, these will be in effect from the date of posting on wonderfulitaly.eu and will apply to any request made through the site from that date of posting. Wonderful Italy invites users to read the Terms & Conditions of the “Best Price Guarantee” carefully before submitting any claim request, as they may have been modified. A claim request assumes prior consultation and acceptance of these terms and conditions. Finally, Wonderful Italy reserves the right to modify or discontinue the “Best Price Guarantee” service and these Terms & Conditions at any time, at its discretion, with or without notice. Requests transmitted prior to the cancellation of the “Best Price Guarantee” will be processed by it on the terms and conditions set forth herein. The conditions herein apply to applications submitted on or after April 25, 2024.
